历史沿革[edit]
村名由两处地名各取一字组成。1956年，该地从他处划入才溪，设立才民高级社。1958年公社化后归才溪公社管辖，1961年体制划小后设才民大队。[1]
1984年起此地改设村民委员会，1993年起称才溪镇才民村民委员会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
才民村是少数民族村。村中以蓝、范两姓为主。[1]
文化[edit]
2022年12月，才民村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，命名单位为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会。2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
