蛟潭村是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的村，位于原步云乡北部，地处国家级梅花山自然保护区腹地，西邻梅花山虎园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村中原有九口塘，旧称蛟塘，清末改称蛟潭。[4]

1934年以前，此地税收补贴长汀，属“贴长”即步云的村落联络点之一；1934年收回上杭管辖，民国时隶属云田乡公所的梨岭保。解放初曾名红旗村，1953年归第十三区步云乡管辖；1956年组建农业合作社，名为红旗高级社。1958年公社化后称古田公社蛟潭大队，1968年为步云公社革委会蛟潭大队，1984年改为步云乡蛟潭村民委员会。2021年，步云乡撤销并入古田镇，本村改称古田镇蛟潭村民委员会。[3]

村辖蛟潭、马屋、吴朗三个自然村，共3个村民小组。[3]

博雅地名网所载本村荣誉有：2020年12月，入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单；2020年12月，入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」（高山茶）名单；2021年10月，被认定为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」（高山茶）；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村子平均海拔1086米，属亚热带季风气候；四季气温宜人，日照充足，降水丰沛。[2]

山林23788亩（毛竹林13200亩），耕地580亩。村中开辟了1600多亩高山云雾茶园。[1][2]
