外洋村是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的村，位于古田集镇规划区北侧，距集镇约3公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村中三洋塅一带地面较宽，且位于山坑之外，因此称外洋。[3]

1929年红四军入闽，此地建立苏维埃政权，属北五区；民国初为上杭县第三区的一部分，1935年至1949年9月隶属第四区的云田乡。1949年解放初，此地设农会支会，隶属第七区；随后并入福地乡。1953年改隶第十三区，属云田镇下的福地乡。1956年组建高级社，1958年公社化。[2]

1986年，本村从邻村分出，称古田镇外洋村民委员会。[2]

村辖李下坑、枣树桥、鸭子地、禾仓石四个自然村，共3个村民小组。[2]

博雅地名网所载本村荣誉有：2022年12月，被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
