竹岭村是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的村，位于古田集镇北侧，离古田会议会址约1公里，与古田山庄相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

竹下与岭下两个自然村合并时各取一字，村名由此而来。[4]

明代官氏迁来开基，其后张氏、官氏又分别迁往岭下、竹下、凹头、吉口、上八岭、苋菜坑等地。1929年红四军入闽后建立苏维埃政权，属北五区。[3]

1956年组建竹岭高级社，1958年公社化后编入古田公社竹岭连，1959年改设大队。1984年改为古田乡竹岭村民委员会，1986年改为古田镇竹岭村民委员会。[3]

村辖七个自然村，分别为吉口、岭下、竹下、凹头、上八岭、王壁墘与苋菜坑，共6个村民小组。[3]

博雅地名网所载本村荣誉有：2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」；2022年9月，被福建省农业农村厅推介为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」；2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」，并被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年10月，被认定为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村（蔬菜）」。[1]

村子毗邻梅花山自然保护区，森林植被覆盖率高。村中耕地1868亩，山林面积11490多亩。[1][2]
