文元村是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的村，位于古田会议会址南侧，距古田集镇约3公里，古田大道穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武年间，蓝氏先到元世甲定居，赖氏则迁往横山下，此地后来称作文山下。清代这一带属古田里。解放后两地合并，因当地口音横与文相近，取名文元。[4]

1929年，元世甲属北四区，文山下属北五区，两地各有苏维埃政权。1953年并入云田镇（第十三区），1956年组建文元高级社，1958年公社化前已撤区并乡。1984年设古田乡文元村民委员会，1986年改称古田镇文元村民委员会。[3]

村辖元世甲、河车、文山下三个自然村，共6个村民小组。[3]

博雅地名网所载本村荣誉有：2006年6月，被福建省委评为先进基层党组织；2012年，被评为省级生态村；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

村子平均海拔690米，气候宜人。村境内山林11546亩，毛竹丰产林超过3000亩。[1][2]
