吴地社区位于古田镇北侧，是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的社区，地处梅花山自然保护区南麓，离古田集镇约7公里。[1]

博雅地名网称此地是一个有近两千年历史的古村落。2014年，吴地村民委员会经上杭县人民政府批准改为吴地社区居民委员会。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

相传张氏到此开基之前，这里种着梧桐树，故称梧地，后美称吴地。[4]

红四军入闽后，村中南谷堂、竹园下两处祖祠用作红军后方医院，当时此地属北五区。1960至1961年间，一度划给上杭县农业局设立梅花农场。[3]

1965年起称古田公社吴地大队，1986年改称古田镇吴地村民委员会。[3]

社区辖小吴地、大吴地、石龙头三个自然村，共8个居民小组。[3]

社区处在海拔900多米的山地上，气候宜人。全村行政区域25.6平方千米。村中有耕地1832亩；山林超过5万亩（52100余亩），其中毛竹丰产林逾两万亩。[1]

古田（吴地）红军小镇景区位于本社区，规划面积25.6平方千米，设计上以红色文化为元素，布置有红军哨所、红军阅兵台和红军食堂等节点。[5]

村中留有红军后方医院旧址、红军住房等红色遗址，另有白眉山书院、八字岭百岁牌坊、张家祠、南谷堂等古迹。[2][3]
