历史沿革[edit]
清代该地属白砂里。民国时设习仁、福洋两保，城下自然村归城下保，一度还在联保中设置过中隔保。[2]
1949年解放初，中隔、陈屋、城下等地设立了农会分会。1951年改为中洋乡，归第六区（白砂区）管辖，次年组成中洋农业高级社。[2]
1958年，区建制撤销、乡并入，当年秋季实行公社化，此后中洋属白砂公社中黄管理区的中洋大队。1984年改称白砂乡中洋村民委员会，1993年改为白砂镇中洋村民委员会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，中洋村列入2021年福建省卫生村名单。[1]
