长滩村位于镇政府所在地周边，在黄潭河东岸，是县级文明村，也是库区移民村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村前的一段急滩。这段河床坡度陡、水流湍急，急滩自村头延伸至村尾，全长约一公里，村名由此而来。该村所在的黄潭河是汀江的第二大支流。[1]

民国时设长滩保，先后属丰稔乡、稔田乡。2011年，村民人均纯收入已超过6000元。[1]

经济[edit]

长滩村于2021年11月获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年1月，村里被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
