梅镇村位于黄潭河畔，属稔田镇集镇所在范围，村民以农业生产和外出劳务为主要收入来源。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子形状狭长，像一个深洞。传说古时此处杨梅树很多，村名因此而来。[1][2]
清代属胜运里龙田片，土地革命时期建立过红色政权，民国时设梅镇保和梅镇中保。1949年解放初合并为梅镇村，设农会分会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中新村建设逐步完善，篮球场和乒乓球场已建好并投入使用。[1]
梅镇村于2021年11月获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年1月，梅镇村被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
