蔡坑村位于稔田镇西南片，距镇中心约5公里，是革命基点村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名源于此地的一条长坑：早先蔡姓人家在坑边开基，其后李姓迁来，蔡姓又迁往他处。[1]
清代属胜运里龙田片。土地革命时期建立过红色政权，1949年解放初设农会小组。[1]
经济[edit]
蔡坑村于2021年11月获得「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年1月，村里被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」，2023年1月又被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
