化厚村是稔田镇中部偏西的行政村，距镇政府驻地约1.65公里，村委会驻黄屋自然村。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
化厚的得名与地形有关。村子在黄潭河下游东岸，原是河水长期冲积形成的荒坝，宋代起有几姓先祖迁来定居，村名由此而来。[1]
清代属胜运里龙田片，民国时设坝头保和化厚保。1949年后行政区划多次变动，1993年起称「稔田镇化厚村民委员会」。[2]
经济[edit]
2021年1月，化厚村被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，又被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
