觉坊村是蓝溪镇下辖的行政村，在黄潭河南岸，省道309线（杭永公路）穿村而过。[1] 村名来自廖氏先祖开基的山角平地。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

廖氏自湖广迁入，最早在今祝山下的山角里立基，此地因此得名觉坊。[3] 清代属胜运里，民国时设角坊保和觉厚保。[2]

1949年后分为觉厚村和觉坊村，1952年为觉坊乡，1958年属蓝溪公社蓝溪大队，1985年改设觉坊村民委员会，村内有觉坊、祝山下两个自然村。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，觉坊村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
