历史沿革[edit]
村原称水坑。客家话中「水」与「瑞」同音，于是美称为瑞香。[1]
清末，有文人路经村中观音宫，题联「瑞月依然照古塘，香花何必朝南海」，遂取「瑞香」为村名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村庄距集镇约2.5公里，杭都公路穿村而过，中都溪流经村境。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以种植优质稻（称瑞香大米）与烤烟为主，烤烟产业规模不断扩大。[2]
