人口与经济[edit]
村中设24个村民小组，共2533人、618户，党员48人，村民代表39人。少数民族村民830人，为蓝、钟两姓。[1][3]
耕地2527亩，山林约2.5万亩，其中竹林约1万亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时此地设下坊、上坊两保。解放初隶信和区古楼乡，1953年起属附城区六甲乡，1956年建高级社，1957年冬区乡调整后归城郊乡。[2]
1958年3月复归六甲乡，同年10月公社化后设连，1959年改为大队。1964年4月社教时并为上登大队，隶城郊公社；1966年文革中改名为红灯大队。1968年改为革委会革领组，1984年起为城郊乡下属村，1986年改属临城乡，1993年称临城镇上登村民委员会。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的上登廻龙阁，民间也称回龙阁或罗登塔，始建于明洪武年间，为五层土木结构塔。该塔于2013年1月公布为省级文物，属第八批。[4][5]
