土埔村位于临城镇东南面的城乡结合部，地处南岗工业园区一带，毗邻县工业开发区。[1][4]

村名取义于汀江长期堆积而成的沙土坪。据百度百科，村名于1984年正式定名。[4]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网记全村有9个村民小组，282户1256人，党员51人，山林面积5900亩，耕地800亩。[1]

百度百科所记的户籍人口与此不同：户籍人口1137人，另有外来人口2300余人，两说并列，未注明年份。[4]

主导产业为萝卜干加工。政府网站称村内建有「塔峰牌」萝卜干生产种植基地。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地属琴岗保。1958年公社化后隶属城郊公社，1961年体制划小，分设土埔大队。1968年改为革委会革领组，1980年起由管委会管理。[2]

1984年起为城郊乡下属村，1986年改属临城乡，1993年称临城镇土埔村民委员会。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年10月，龙岩市农业农村局把土埔村列为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」；2020年12月，村入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产品为萝卜干。[1]

2021年11月，省爱卫办命名土埔村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
