石砌村位于临城镇境内，村名取自所在的古石岩北坡多石山、石砌路的地貌。[1]

政府网站把石砌村列为镇内三个少数民族村之一。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地设保甲，隶属三益乡；解放初仍在三益乡之内，1953年改归附城区。1958年公社化后称城郊公社石砌大队，1961年体制划小，改为梅溪公社的石砌大队。[2]

1965年复归城郊公社，1980年由管委会管理。1984年起为城郊乡下属村，1986年改属临城乡，1993年由临城镇管辖。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，石砌村获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[2]
