天山社区是福建省龙岩市上杭县临江镇下辖的城区社区，位于县城繁华地段，在北大路以西、建设路以东。[1][2] 社区名称由解放初天潮保与中山保合并而来，各取一字为名。[1] 2002年9月起设立天山社区居民委员会。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

天山一带宋端平元年（1234年）已有建置，属来苏里；明、清时期属在城里。[3] 民国时期分为天潮保和中山保，隶城厢镇；解放初两保并为天山里，归附城区。[3]

附城区改为第一区后，天山里之名未变。[3] 1953年起称城关镇天山街，公社化后归城关公社天山大队。[3] 1980年起称城关镇天山居民委员会，1986年改为临江镇天山居民委员会，2002年9月起设天山社区居民委员会。[3]

文化[edit]

2023年1月，天山社区被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1] 2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名天山社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
