村名的来源与苏姓有关，原有苏坑头、苏陂坑两个称呼，后统一写作苏陂。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子海拔430米，管辖面积9平方千米；东面与红塅村相望，西面与腊溪村接壤，北面连接中坪村，南面距武平县大禾乡约15公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1989年，村子改名为苏陂村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2012年，苏陂村被评为市级生态村。[2]

2023年1月和2024年1月，苏陂村先后被命名为龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」，分别为2022年度和2023年度。[1]
