下畲村位于宣成乡南部，与上杭县官庄乡相邻，距长汀县城约62千米，是开国上将杨成武的出生与成长之地。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年，此地设下畲大队。1966与1967年间的文革时期，名称被换成红武大队；因群众辨认不清，后又改回下畲大队。1984年，它成为下畲村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

本村的杨成武故居是一处客家府第式的老宅、厅堂楼阁式的新宅与池塘的组合。2013年1月，故居列入福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[2]

著名人物[edit]

杨成武（1914—2004），原名杨能俊，开国上将，曾任全国政协副主席，出生于本村。[2][3]

文化[edit]

2019年12月，本村入选国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。2020年12月，本村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单，并被认定为「龙岩市第一批中级版绿盈乡村」。2023年2月，本村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
