中畲村位于宣成乡中部，北面以畲心村口为界，南面一直连到乡集镇，距长汀县城55公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年，这里办起高级社，社名福中。公社化运动之后的1958年，此地先有中畲大队的建制；1966年时改用东风之名，到1976年又回到中畲大队；1984年起成为村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村民扩大烤烟与优质稻的种植，发展槟榔芋，兴办养猪场、鱼塘与养鸡场，并大量组织外出务工。村里还建起水库、山塘与沟渠，道路全部硬化。[2]

著名人物[edit]

钟池（1915—1978）1915年12月生于本村，参加红军后任成都军区政治部副主任，1964年晋升少将。[3]
