庵杰乡位于福建省龙岩市长汀县北部山区，距县城34公里，东邻馆前镇，南连新桥镇，西接铁长乡和大同镇，北与三明市宁化县治平乡交界。乡名取自庵北河水汇合处的峡谷“庵峡”，因“峡”与“杰”方言谐音而定为庵杰。[1][2]

乡境内的汀江源头一带，龙门为汀江发源处，龙门风景区位于涵前村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

两处资料对设乡的年份说法不一。博雅地名网记为1949年设乡，1961年改称庵杰公社，1984年又恢复为乡；百度百科则记新中国成立之初此地归大同区管辖，名为铁庵乡，至1984年由公社转为乡建制。[1][2]

面积一项，博雅地名网记62.7平方千米，百度百科记64.89平方千米，两者均未标注统计年份。[1][2]

百度百科给出的数字是10020人，时点为2019年末，统计口径为户籍。博雅地名网的数据栏另记约2425人，概况部分则说约0.9万人，二者均无年份。[1][2]

乡内出产竹木、土纸、松脂、笋干、香菇和棕，「玉扣纸」是本乡的特产。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

汀江源龙门风景区位于涵前村，以横跨汀江的溶洞“龙门”为核心，被评为「国家3A级旅游景区」。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2014年9月，环境保护部授予庵杰乡「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

2020年12月，庵杰乡被福建省爱卫办评定为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

2021年2月，乡入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定，庵杰乡列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
