吴坑村位于涂坊镇西部，距镇区约4千米，由三个自然村组成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：村名原作银坑。据博雅地名网，传说明末有官员携带金银财宝逃亡，埋于银坑，后人多次寻找未果，当地便称其为「冇坑」，之后演变为吴坑。[1]
1984年设立吴坑村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域山林绿化覆盖率较高，植被保护完好。[2]
文化[edit]
2023年1月，本村被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
