慈坑村地处涂坊镇西北一隅，群山环绕，离镇政府约5千米。博雅地名网称本村为革命基点村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在公社化后设慈坑大队，到1984年才改成村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以烤烟、槟榔芋为主导产业，并发展果树与油茶。村里成立了慈坑优健合作社，还组织剩余劳力外出务工，增加收入。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，省农业农村部门确认本村为第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
