涂坊镇位于福建省龙岩市长汀县南部，东面紧邻连城县新泉镇一带，南面与上杭县南阳镇相接，西侧是濯田镇，北侧则连着南山镇。镇人民政府驻红坊村，镇又名丹溪。[1][4]

全镇辖78个自然村。据县政府网站，2025年7月刊载的户籍人口约3.01万人，常住人口约1.2万人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，南宋年间涂姓先人最早来此开基，此后居民以涂姓为多，地名因此而来。[2]

据百度百科，1949年此地设第七区，1997年底由涂坊乡改设为涂坊镇。[4] 博雅地名网的沿革则写1958年成立涂坊人民公社，1964年又改为镇人民政府，两者记载不一。[2]

据维基百科，第二次国内革命战争时期，涂坊曾是长汀红色政权的中心，地名一度改作红坊。[5]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于长汀县南部，离县城约52千米，离龙岩约110千米。[1]

319国道与赣龙铁路在北面与镇域相接，205线在南面相连，650县道自北向南穿过全镇。厦蓉高速涂坊互通口位于镇内，据县政府网站，它是长汀境内厦蓉高速的首个互通口，距集镇约5千米。[1]

溪源水库位于溪源村境内，据博雅地名网，它属国家中型水库。[3]

经济[edit]

涂坊镇以槟榔芋为特色产业。2025年，涂坊镇入选国家级特色农业产业强镇（槟榔芋）。[1]

文化[edit]

2013年，涂坊镇获国家级生态乡镇称号；2021年，获评福建省脱贫攻坚先进集体。[1]

2024年1月，涂坊镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

涂坊围屋又称涂氏凤如围屋，位于涂坊村，始建于清乾隆年间，平面呈椭圆形，占地3617平方米。2009年11月16日，它被公布为第七批福建省省级文物保护单位。[6]

周盛公祠同在涂坊村，于2018年入选福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。祠建于1829年，即清道光九年，属客家府第式围屋建筑。据百度百科，此祠曾为开国少将涂通今的故居。[7]
