上蕉村是四都镇的北大门，距四都集镇约3公里。村址在一片芭蕉林的上方，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村里早先为上蕉大队，1984年起成为上蕉村民委员会。[1]
2020年12月，上蕉村获评「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予上蕉村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，入选「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
2021年1月、2023年1月和2024年1月，上蕉村先后被命名为2020年度、2022年度、2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
