楼子坝村在四都镇西部，与江西省瑞金市的泽覃、拔英两乡相接，村内的姜畲坑自然村有毛泽覃旧居。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网，是早年有几户人家在荒坪上盖起了简易楼房，地名因此叫楼子坝。[1]

公社化时村属红楼公社，之后改属四都公社红楼大队，1984年定名楼子坝村。[1]

博雅地名网称，村内有三个自然村为省定革命基点村。[1]

2022年12月，福建省绿化委员会将楼子坝村命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「毛泽覃旧居刘氏茂元公祠」为清末所建的土木结构建筑，屋顶悬山，平面二落一进，坐西朝东。1934年10月至1935年4月，毛泽覃以中央苏区分局委员的身份留在中央苏区，曾居住于此。该祠2018年列为第九批省级文物保护单位。[2]
