连湖村位于濯田集镇东南约4公里，东与南安村相连，西连湖头村，北邻塍背村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
蓝、邓两姓先后在此开基。村子周围多湖塘和土墩，传说有九湖十八墩，连成一片形如莲花，故称连湖。[1]
概况[edit]
2012年时，村有550户、2488人，分为15个村民小组。村内有7个自然村。[1]
文物与族史[edit]
村东邓氏宗祠内珍藏着一块明代官匾，匾上书「庶绩咸熙」四字。据村中《邓氏族谱》，明永乐二十二年（1424年），邓梅波擢升江苏镇江知府，宣德三年（1428年），江苏省都察院的一位副都御史为他题匾。[2]
