羊赤村是濯田镇最北面的行政村，村落分散，全村由7个自然村组成，距集镇约20公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名由洋田、赤告两个村各取一字而成。[1]
地理[edit]
村境海拔525米，与古城镇交界处的雁子樟高979米，为全镇最高峰。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1930年至1934年间，羊赤一度划归四都区苏维埃管辖。1939年，洋田设保，划入濯田镇。1948年，洋田保自成一保。建国后设洋田村，1950年5月划入源中乡，1956年3月隶属邻乡。1961年5月，洋田、赤告分为两个大队；1965年9月合并为羊赤大队。1984年10月，改称羊赤村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，省农业农村厅将羊赤村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
