左拔村位于长汀县城以南约30公里的山区，四周群山环抱，村境辖有5个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中原有左拔寺，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初，左拔寺一带与邻近村分属不同的乡。1952年，濯田区设左拔乡，乡政府设在赖屋祠堂内，1956年3月撤销。1958年5月，左拔农业社隶属濯田镇。1961年5月，左拔归濯田小公社管理。1965年9月，潭河、左拔、大丰三地合为左拔大队。1984年，改为左拔村。[2]
