坝尾村位于濯田集镇西侧，与街上、中坊、李湖等村相接，村境辖4个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
开基之初，濯田集镇所在处还是一片荒凉的河滩，村址位于河坝的末端，因此得名坝尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1930年5月，濯田设区苏维埃，坝尾隶属濯田乡苏维埃。建国初，坝尾属上坊村。1950年6月，濯田乡下辖七村，坝尾为其中之一，村部设于郑坊庙。[2]
1980年12月，濯田大队一分为六，坝尾独立成为一个大队；1984年10月，大队改为坝尾村民委员会。[2]
