迳背村是河田镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部，距集镇约13公里。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村境四面环山。赤峰嶂为其中的山峰，海拔1300余米，据百度百科为长汀四大名山之一。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
土地革命时期，这里是赤峰区的根据地，也是当地红色政权的一处重要据点。[2]
解放前此地属赤峰区，解放后设迳背乡。1965年，三个大队合并为迳背大队，属河田公社；八十年代改设迳背村民委员会。[1][2]
