车寮村是河田镇下辖的行政村，在镇西侧，离集镇约四公里，与河田刘源河风景区相接。村内林木保护得较好，属集镇饮用水源的重点保护范围。[1][2]

2026年5月，县自然资源局公示了《长汀县河田镇车寮村村庄规划（2022-2035）》修编方案，规划把村庄定为以刘源河沿岸水景、大片农田和戴氏宗祠为依托，发展研学、自然科学教育与农事体验的示范村。[2]

据2026年5月的村庄规划公示，村中有2086人、544户，下辖2个自然村，划为12个村民小组。[2]

村内的戴氏宗祠列为规划中的文化旅游资源。[2]

村里的主要生产是烤烟、槟榔芋和水稻种植，以及河田鸡、番鸭养殖。[2]

2021年1月，该村获评2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
