芦竹村是河田镇下辖的行政村，村名与早年此地长满芦苇有关。[1]
地名由来[edit]
开基之前，这里长着许多芦苇，先人便取名芦竹。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初，这里设过芦竹乡。合作化期间曾分成若干高级社；公社化时先后归属五星公社与南刘公社。1965年并入河田公社，组成芦竹大队，1984年以后改称行政村。[1]
2021年1月，该村获评2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
经济[edit]
河田鸡是芦竹村的“一村一品”主导产品。2020年12月，该村列入福建省“一村一品”示范村名单；2021年10月，又被龙岩市认定为市级专业村。[1]
