窑下村是河田镇下辖的行政村，村域跨汀江河两岸，与三洲镇相邻。[1]

县政府把窑下村列为镇里打造的“法治窑下”示范村之一。[2]

地名由来[edit]

早年村中盛产土陶，烧陶的窑场很多，因而得名窑下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地归三洲乡管辖；解放后划归小潭乡与南塘乡。公社化时组建窑下大队，1984年设为窑下村委会。[1]

2022年10月，窑下村被福建省农业农村厅列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1]
