河田镇位于福建省龙岩市长汀县中部，属长汀县管辖。东邻南山镇，南接涂坊镇与濯田镇，北连新桥镇，西与策武镇交界，镇政府设在下街村。[2][3]

据县政府2025年的镇情简介，全镇辖31个行政村，土地总面积290.2平方公里。镇内红色历史、生态治理与客家文化并存，中央苏区时期曾是中共长汀县委和县苏维埃政府的驻地。水土保持科教园设在露湖村，河田鸡是镇内的主导养殖品种。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，河田在百年前叫作“柳村”。汀江河干支流沿岸水土流失严重，河床每年都在抬升，田地与河滩分不清楚，因而改称河田。[2]

博雅地名网的概况页另载，镇的建置可上溯到唐朝开元二十四年（736年），早年曾以留镇、柳村为名。该说法未见县政府或百度百科印证。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后的1949年，这里曾设第五区。公社体制结束后，1984年起称河田镇。[3] 2014年7月，河田镇被确定为全国重点镇。[2]

中央苏区时期，河田是中共长汀县委和县苏维埃政府的驻地，在长汀的政治与军事事务中居于中心地位。毛泽东、周恩来与邓小平等革命家都曾在此生活和战斗。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域四周为低山丘陵，中部开阔。博雅地名网称该地是长汀县最大的河谷盆地，海拔约在300至500米之间，汀江贯穿境内。[2]

截至2025年7月，县政府统计的水土流失治理面积为17余万亩，流失率已降到8.2%，森林覆盖率为73.2%。“长汀经验”的主要形成地也在河田。[1]

人口[edit]

2019年末户籍人口为73358人。[3] 2025年县政府的镇情简介则称全镇有8万余人。[1]

经济[edit]

河田鸡是镇内的主导养殖品种。首批国家农业产业强镇的名单于2023年8月公布，其中有河田镇，所依托的产业是河田鸡。[2] 2020年11月，河田鸡相关产业获第十批全国一村一品示范村镇认定，河田镇在列。[2]

县政府介绍，镇里围绕河田鸡开展保种、扩繁，推进标准化养殖和产业化利用。[1] 经济作物有烤烟和槟榔芋，林下另有五指毛桃、黄花远志与茯苓等产业。[1]

镇域内设有晋江（长汀）工业园区，以农副产品加工、高端纺织和铜铝稀土再生资源回收为主要发展方向。[1]

交通[edit]

319国道与205省道、龙长高速和赣龙铁路都经过镇域，县政府把这几条线概括为三纵一横。赣龙铁路在此设有河田站。[1][3]

文化与名胜[edit]

镇内的中街村有中街李氏下大屋，下街的余氏家庙在下街村。两处都是清代建成的建筑，福建省公布第八批省级文物保护单位名单时，二者均在其中，日期为2013年1月28日。[6][7]

傅连暲旧居位于伯湖村中村，是一座清代建筑，列为福建省文物保护单位。[8]

长汀水土保持科教园设在露湖村，2000年4月始建，向公众展示水土流失造成的生态危害，传播水土保持知识，并开展研究。2012年，水利部授予园区“国家水土保持科技示范园”的称号；同年12月，福建省把园区列为省级水利风景区。[5]

民俗方面，镇里有唢呐艺术（长汀公嫲吹）和彭坊刻纸龙灯。[2]

著名人物[edit]

开国中将傅连暲（1894年出生，1968年去世）的故乡，据博雅地名网和百度百科，在伯湖村，他的旧居也在该村。[8][9][10]
