龙坊村是童坊镇东北部的行政村，距镇政府15公里，离县城42公里。村名因龙姓人最早到此开基而得。[1]
人口与地理[edit]
村内有九个村民小组，村民分居于五个自然村：井下、刘屋、村中心、大坪山、黄泥坵。全村302户，共1262人（据博雅地名网，年份未注），其中男651人、女611人。耕地1406亩，森林13842亩。[1][2]
村内有龙福寺庙一座。石金鸡、石拱门、八仙潭等自然景观也在村中，另有长9200米的龙下峡峡谷。[2]

「龙坊煎大糈」列为市级非物质文化遗产。[3]

收入来源以烤烟、香菇种植和养殖为主。[2]
荣誉[edit]
