红明村是童坊镇东北部的行政村。村名取明天更加红火之意。[1]

人口与地理[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村1142人，11个村民小组，党员33人（年份未注）。耕地1089.16亩，山林2158亩。[1]

村中有仙花山（观音寺）、龙溪寺和清云山三座寺庙。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种粮、烤烟和种植食用菌为主要产业，部分劳力外出经商务工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初此地属童坊区彭坊乡。1957年撤区并乡后仍归彭坊乡，公社化时划为红星公社彭坊管理区的一部分。1961年改属彭坊公社，设红明大队。1984年隶属童坊乡，1988年单独设立红明村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2006年，红明村被评为县级文明村。[1]

2021年1月，红明村被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]

2024年6月，红明村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
