禾生村是童坊镇下辖的行政村，属革命老区基点村。村名得自村旁的一条坑，坑只有一个出口，形如谷仓。[1]
革命历史[edit]
1933年扩红时，村中200多人口里有22人参加红军。[1]
人口与历史沿革[edit]
现有705人，156户，8个村民小组，5个自然村，党员36人（其中预备党员1人）（据博雅地名网，年份未注）。[1]
解放初此地归童坊区林田乡。1957年撤区并乡，划入童坊乡。公社化后隶属红星公社的童坊管理区。1961年改属童坊公社，设禾生大队。1987年设立禾生村，仍属童坊乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
禾生村先后被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」和「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」，命名时间依次为2021年1月、2023年1月和2024年1月。[1]
