青潭村是童坊镇下辖的行政村，村落分布在汀江源头两岸。村名得自童坊河边的古石潭：周围青山林木茂盛，两处各取一字，合称青潭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前，青潭隶属旧童坊乡，由青潭大队管辖。1957年撤区并乡，此后仍在童坊乡境内，并成立红星高级社。1971年始设青潭大队，隶属童坊公社，1984年改设青潭村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村中共九个村民小组，分属四个自然村。人口1468人（据博雅地名网，年份未注），党员55人，编为四个党小组。村内耕地1001亩，山林9878亩。[1]
主要经济作物为水稻和烤烟，烤烟种植450余亩，蔬菜100余亩。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年1月，青潭村被命名为「龙岩市平安村居（社区）」，批次为2020年度。[1]
