南材村是福建省龙岩市长汀县馆前镇下辖的行政村，位于集镇东南部，村民聚居在一条山坑之中。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：居民住在一条山坑里，竹木较多，故称南材。[2]
1984年改由馆前镇管辖，设立南材村民委员会。[3]
文化[edit]
据村情资料，此地在战争年代处于宁化通往连城的要道上，红军时期的汀东县以本村为主要发起地与指挥地。[1]
2009年，本村被上级部门认定为县级革命基点村，村子中央立有革命烈士纪念碑。[1]
