东庄村是福建省龙岩市长汀县馆前镇下辖的行政村，位于长汀县最东部，与宁化县、清流县交界，属偏远山区，村子是革命基点村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建村时，村名各取东坑背村与庄下村的一个字组成。[2]

1931年，这里设立红色苏维埃乡政府。红军主力北上后，村内赤卫队遭到围剿，激战一天后失利，村中残存的弹洞和断墙留存至今。[1]

大队于1974年设立，村民委员会则在1984年取代了原先的大队体制。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村域多为山地。1981年山田承包到户，此后数十年间村民以造林、垦复竹林和护林防火为主。[1]

经济[edit]

毛竹是村民增收的重要来源，村里还种植烟叶与烟后稻等经济作物，村民中有人组织养蜂协会。[1]
