江坊村位于新桥镇中北部，是镇里的中心村建设村之一。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年居民多为江姓，因此取名江坊。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋末此地称江坊寨。明清时称江福坊，属汀江沿岸的十坊之一，相当于当时的一乡。[1]
解放初曾设江坊乡政府，此后经历1957年撤区并乡、1958年公社化，1984年改设江坊村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年2月，村被列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
