石人村位于汀江上游，与庵杰乡的龙门一带接壤，村民分居河流南北两岸。村中以种茶、种果为主要的山地产业，所产红茶在2024年被认定为省级一村一品专业村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名原传作「石人下」，因山脚下有一块高大的巨石，形如人形而得名。[1][2]

人口与生产[edit]

全村656户，人口2568人。劳动力共1045人，其中850余人外出经商打工。全村辖2个自然村、17个村民小组。[2]

村民从1983年起开发山地种茶、种果，现有台茶500亩，油茶则有30亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月，村中的红茶被认定为「2024年度福建省一村一品专业村」。[1]
