三坑口村是新桥镇最边远的行政村，地处汀江上游的龙门一带，东北与馆前镇若干村交界，西与庵杰乡相邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名依地形而定：村域内有三处坑口，地势结构如此，故称三坑口。[1]
自然环境[edit]
村域内有汀江与寨下溪两条溪河，二者在村中交汇后向南流去。全村林地9411亩，森林覆盖率达99%，木竹林资源丰富。[2]
村域内还有竹头岭「佛印寺」。[2]
行政区划[edit]
村域含4个自然村，分为6个村民小组。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前此地属汀东县馆前乡，1957年撤区并乡后仍属馆前乡。1962年公社化时划入新桥公社，设胜利大队；1984年改设三坑口村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年12月，村被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
