新桥镇是福建省龙岩市长汀县下辖的镇，位于县境东北部、汀江上游，距县城约13公里。镇域面积129.29平方千米，地形以山地为主，人均耕地较少。镇政府驻新桥村。[1][2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

据《新桥年鉴》，此地旧时称为归阳哩，人口稀少。镇名的另一种说法来自汀江上的木桥屡被洪水冲毁、屡次重建。[4][5]

1949年后此地先设第三区，1956年成立新桥区，1958年组建公社，1984年又改回乡制，1993年建镇。[5]

2014年，国家住房城乡建设部等部门把本镇列入全国重点镇之列，生态环境部认定其为国家级生态乡镇，同年中国绿色推荐委员会推荐其为中国绿色名镇。本镇获评市级文明乡镇，时间为2015年。[4]

2024年，本镇列入全省第二批乡村振兴示范镇创建名单。县级简介称，2025年镇里获得「全国计生协先进单位」和「长汀县推动革命老区建设工作先进集体」等称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

汀江河蜿蜒流经镇境，沿江两岸的水质常年达到国家二类水质标准，镇域森林覆盖率为78.73%。[2]

土壤以砂质红壤为主，探明的矿藏包括煤、石灰石、有色金属与金矿等。[4]

人口与民族[edit]

据2026年7月县政府网站的镇情简介，全镇常住人口为1.74万人，户籍人口则为3.48万人。[1] 同年6月的县政府镇级页面写总人口约3.7万人。[2]

经济[edit]

粮食作物以水稻为主，经济作物有烤烟、蔬菜、水果、茶叶、花卉和竹类。农业特色在于中草药的种植和加工，养殖方面主要是鳗鱼。[4]

林下经济有茯苓、杨梅、鹰嘴桃、小黄姜和茶叶等作物。[2]

传统加工业以米粉、腐竹、细面和茶叶为主，「石人茶」「新桥细面」「勤业腐竹」等品牌见于镇政府的网站和镇情页。[2][3]

耕地面积的写法各页不同：2026年6月的县政府镇级页面称耕地2.3万亩，《新桥年鉴》所载为1.7万亩。[2][4]

文化[edit]

据《新桥年鉴》，每年农历二月初五的庙会，缘起于纪念唐宋两代平定南蛮叛乱的将领，后来逐渐演变为物资交流的墟会。各地商贩和顾客在这一天聚集，影响远及宁化江西一带和县城。活动前有理事会筹备，持续约五天。[4]

镇情页称，2014年上半年，镇里的医养服务中心开始投入使用，医疗、养老与护理合为一体，统一管理。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

县政府网站称，境内的红色革命遗址包括汀东游击队旧址和毛泽覃旧居，此外还有文富公祠与曲凹哩红军码头。[2]
