杨梅溪村地处闽赣交界处，是古城镇最偏西的一个行政村，西与江西省瑞金市兰田相接。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧时村中多杨梅树，村子又靠近一条大溪，故名“杨梅溪”。[2]
生产与人口[edit]
全村6个自然村，152户，719人，耕地582亩，山林1.2万亩。村里以烤烟、淮山、生猪养殖、河田鸡养殖和竹林为主导产业。据2012年的资料，农民人均纯收入5893元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前，村子属古城乡；解放后属古城区南岩乡。1974年起称杨梅溪大队，1984年改设杨梅溪村民委员会。[2]
