南岩村在古城镇南部，离县城22公里，离集镇19公里；全村辖5个自然村，其中1个为省级革命基点村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子四周被岩石环抱，故名“南岩”。[2]

生产[edit]

村里有耕地1410亩，山地2.7万亩，竹林4500亩，另有造林地4200亩。村民收入以烤烟、淮山和河田鸡养殖为主。据2012年的资料，农民人均纯收入4690元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年12月，南岩村被认定为「2023年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，产业是河田鸡。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，村子属古城区南岩保管辖；解放后归古城区的南岩乡。1958年公社化后，村子与他村合成一个大队；1974年又分开；1984年改设南岩村民委员会。[2]
