青山村是革命老区的基点村，距古城集镇约7公里，离长汀县城约14公里。319国道与赣龙铁路穿村而过。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子周围群山环绕、林木茂盛，因而叫“青山”。[2]

自然与经济[edit]

全村群山环抱，村内有梅花山东风景区。全村土地约25674亩，其中林地23041亩（竹山12871亩），耕地798亩。以出产毛竹为主，并产冬笋、红菇。[1]

竹业是村里的支柱产业，村里规划了党群共富竹业产业区，并有竹制品加工厂。据2012年的资料，全村人均收入6390元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把青山村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，村子叫作“古贵哩青山铺”，归古城乡上都保管辖。解放后划入古城区上都乡；1961年为红旗公社古城第四连的青山大队；1984年改为青山村民委员会。[2]
