中都村位于古城镇集镇区，是镇人民政府所在的村，赣龙铁路与319国道穿村而过，交通便利。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村子旧名“上街”。因河田镇也有上街、中街、下街等村名，为免重名混淆，改名为“中都”。1984年设立中都村民委员会。[1]
村域面积约5.3平方公里，村里以种植烤烟、水稻、蔬菜、生姜和槟榔芋为经济来源。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，中都村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市“平安村居（社区）”」；2023年1月，又被命名为「2022年度龙岩市“平安村居（社区）”」。[1]
