黄麻畲村为镇内的一个行政村，村名由一段传说而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传宋代此处盗匪频生，杨家将之一的杨八妹奉命前来征讨，朝廷赐她黄马褂一件。杨八妹留宿谢家时，把黄马褂送给了谢家，此地遂被称作“黄马谢”。因“谢”与“畲”读音相近，后来被叫作“黄麻畲”。[1]

2012年12月，全村整体搬至同乐小区，即黄麻畲新村。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，黄麻畲村经福建省农业农村厅认定，成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2023年1月，黄麻畲村被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
